放送開始が2019年夏と言われている「エージェント・オブ・シールド シーズン6」。ジェマ・シモンズ役エリザベス・ヘンストリッジがInstagramにて放送開始が2019年7月と答えた事が確認された。
「エージェント・オブ・シールド シーズン6」はエピソード数は全13話の予定。シーズン6第1話の監督はコールソン役のクラーク・グレッグ。グレッグはシーズン5第6話でも監督を行っている。
